Noemia founder/winemaker Hans Vinding-Diers learned his craft with his cousin, Peter Sisseck of Pingus and made Argiano Brunello before landing in Pategonia in 1998. And creating the region's benchmark estate. Malbec here is juicy, mineral and wildly fun to drink. As Vinous says of this 93 point release, "This opens with delicate cherry and violet notes, vibrant fruit and a gentle touch of oak. The palate is smooth with juicy freshness, good concentration and slightly ripe fruit." A pure, refreshing, Malbec that still has the stuffing to stand up to steak and chops.
For You If: You enjoy reds with minerality to match their deep red fruit and long, pure, finishes; you're after a great match for lean beef or really good pork loin chops - this will sing with that pairing!
