A lip-smacking, fresh and distinctive white from the rocky soils of Italy’s Sardinia that will certainly shine with seafood and makes a great cocktail white, too! This edition celebrate’s enologist Giampaolo Parpinello's 50th vintage on Sardinia with a tart, refreshing, citrus core and accents of tarragon, spiced stone fruit and candied lemon peel. The acidity is mellow through the middle before biting just a bit on the nicely long, mouthwatering, finish.
For You If: You enjoy the fresh citrus bite of Sauvignon Blanc and want that with the grapefruit and grass toned down a bit; you’re after a seafood-friendly white that will shine before dinner, too.
Not For You If: You’re after the creamy, round, mouthfeel of barrel-fermented Chardonnay or the exotic tropical and grassy notes of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
