As WE of the 91 point 2022, "An array of blue and purple floral aromas leaps from the glass quickly followed by sour plum and mixed spices on this plump and juicy Barbera. Round and plush on the palate with notes of black cherry and dried currants finishing with savory herbs and spices." Terrific pizza/pasta wine that will do great with burgers and fries, too.
