Built to age, this is Pecorino of enourmous presence and potential. As Vinous says in the 91 piont review, "understated and a bit backward in the glass, with nuances of savory herbs, wildflowers and crushed green apples. It opens with a burst of citrus and a crisp saline character that complicates its tart orchard fruit tones. This leaves a lemony concentration that puckers the cheeks, along with a salty flourish through the long, potent finish."
For You If: You're captivated by complexity and delighted by depth - this has both in spades in a savory, very long, expression.
Not For You If: You're after something fruity - this has pretty orchard fruit and citrus at the core, but it's primarly about the while herbs and spice.
