A terrific value from Billecart-Salmon, this is built on Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay not used in the main cuvees including a healthy (70%) dose of reserve wines. Fine bubbles lift generous aromas of brioche, sliced almond, buttered apple and juicy pear. Citrus fruits join the part on the mouthwatering palate with a bit of Mirabelle plum and dried apple before finishing broad, a little rich, and toasty. A great party and cocktail Champagne!
