This is a terrific introduction to Piemonte Nebbiolo done in a nicely open, ready to drink, style. It's made all in tank with the cap held submerged to give lovely aroma, flavor and color with milder-than-expected tannins. Plum, strawberry, dried rose petal and a touch of tar aromas and flavors are classic Nebbiolo as is the juicy acidity. The tannins are super-fine and easy, making this Nebbiolo to drink tonight with stews, risotto or even simple grilled/roasted meats.

For You If:  You enjoy the aromas and flavors of Nebbiolo - or want to get to know them! - and are looking for a nice value that you can enjoy tonight.
