Xanadu is one of Australia's most lauded Cabernet estates, regularly taking multiple prizes for all their bottlings at the major wine contests and shows. Their Circa 77 bottling is a great introduction to the style and quality and a fine value, too. It's a blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon plus Merlot, Cab Franc and Petit Verdot with 14 months in 20% new French oak. Juicy and ripe with plenty of luscious black fruit and spice, it shows a nicely supple grip on the finish. Great burger and cookout Cab.
