Remote, old-school, and not interested in trends - that's Green & Red winery, tucked away in Chiles Canyon in the Vaca Mountains to the east of most of Napa Valley. This is their three-vineyard blend, 100% Zinfandel given a relaxed fermentation and aged in French and American oak. 2018 was a great Napa Zin harvest, giving wines - like this - of terrific freshness and structure to match the bold, rich, Zinny fruit. Great cookout Zin with the fruit to handle BBQ ribs and the style to simply enjoy.
