There's a bit of something old-fashioned about Frog's Leap, from the 140 year-old red barn that holds the Rutherford winery to the laid back, unforced, style of their wines. Their Zinfandel is lower in alcohol than many, serving up pretty aromas and flavors of crushed blackberries and dark cherries, blueberry, sweet spice, and a touch of Zin's traditional bramble character.
