Organic/Bio Lower ABV Although this lovely Macon will be better in 5 years, it's pretty stunning now. From the limestone/clay soils of Pouilly-Vinzelles, it ages 18 months in barrel (only 20% new) and then longer in tank before bottling unfined. Gunflint, toast, white peach and citrus notes are lovely now as will be the buttered hazelnut, pear and chalk notes that will emerge with time. Finishes very long with a touch of velvet.

"A cool, elegant and airy nose is noticeably floral in character with its range of various white orchard fruit aromas that include a hint of grapefruit. The nicely rich and attractively textured medium-bodied flavors possess a succulent mouthfeel while exhibiting fine length on the linear, very dry and slightly lean finale."
