One of the most deliciously exciting Italian white wines we’ve tried in a long while, this blend of Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and a splash of Sauvignon Blanc delivers a compelling blend of richness and vivacity, fruit and minerality, and purity and power. Slow fermentation in cool stainless steel locks in freshness and fruit while aging 7 months on the lees in tank and large, old, traditional, casks adds body and a silky texture. Delicious to sip solo and surprisingly versatile at table. The winery’s suggested matches range from pizza and pasta to white asparagus salad to “turkey breast with root vegetables” and more!

"Aromas of cooked apples, lemongrass, tarragon, and limes with hints of kiwi. Medium body. Creamy texture with dried lemons and pear pie. Flinty and slate character, too. Such tension and purity. Aged 20% in large casks and partial malolatic fermentation. A blend of 60% pinot bianco, 30% chardonnay and 10% sauvignon blanc."
