By FAR the best vintage yet of this always wildly over-performing, huge value, oak-aged Rioja Crianza. As always, it's a blend of 90% Temparnillo and 10% Graciano aged 12 months in used American oak casks. More ripe, dark, juicy, black fruit than in the past makes for an even more enjoyable contrast to the spice, herb and smoke flavors coming from the barrels. Finishes with silky tannins and touch of citric lift under the generous dark fruit. Excellent value in highly drinkable, old-school, Rioja.

"A fruity and attractive red with medium body, red fruit and a fresh finish. Not a lot of structure, but delicious and fruity at the end. And not overdone. Tempranillo."
