Lower ABV From the Picollo family's home village of Rovereto in the heart of the Gavi di Gavi DOCG, this is pretty much the essence of the region’s native white grape, Cortese. One notch cooler in tone than the regular Gavi, but still expressive and boisterous with loads of citrus, ripe green apple and fresh peach aromas and flavors. Finishes very, very, long and mouthwatering.  A touch more body than the regular Gavi, but still light (just 13.0% alcohol) and equally intense in its flavor and finish. I suppose this will improve over the next few years, but I cannot imagine being able to wait. Remarkably good and pretty brilliant value.
