Most of the fruit comes from vines on sandy soil at the bottom of Paitin's Serraboella vineyard in Barbaresco with some from a second site in Alba as well. The sandy soils make this a lovely, drink now, expression of Paitin's Barbaresco magic.

"The 2021 Langhe Nebbiolo Starda is a blend taken from estate vineyards in both Neive and Alba. It offers up gorgeous scents of raspberry, crushed flowers, mint, spice, white pepper and citrus, all in a translucent style that is hugely appealing. There's terrific energy and drive here."
