Organic/Bio Lower ABV If you were looking for Sancerre or Pouilly Fume, Rioja's Basque Country isn't where you'd normally start. But through some magic alchemy that's what this tastes like! It's a blend of Viura and Garnacha Blanca from 65-80 year-old vines, fermented in steel and then aged 15 months in barrel (15% new French, the rest a blend of older French and American casks). Bold aromas of almond flower, cotton, green citrus and smoky crushed quartz pull you in. Medium-bodied (at 13.0%) and very fresh, the citrus and crushed stone flavors really pop and drive through a juicy, mouthwatering, finish. Give this a try!
