Organic/Bio Lower ABV Fiefs Vendéens is a tiny region south of Muscadel in the western Loire Valley, warm enough to ripen Chenin Blanc but still cool enough to give fresh, vibrant, wines. Here 20% Chardonnay joins the blend for a touch more body (although still just 12.5% alcohol) to the classic Chenin aromas and flavors of ripe stone fruit, citrus, wildflower honey and a hint of bergamont complexity. Finishes dusty and fresh and delicious.

For You If:   You’re looking for a sophisticated match for poached or lightly sauteed fish or even fish tacos!

Not For You If:   You’re after straight-ahead fruit flavors – this is more complex than that – or oaky spice – this is all steel.
