As usual with Herman Story wines, there's nothing shy about this blockbuster blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Petit Verdot, 20% Syrah and 3% Malbec from several vineyards across the Central Coast, with 24 months in 84% new French oak. The 93-94 point raves will emerge as folks get to taste this, with big, plush, mouthfeel nicely balanced by the wine's density and chewy, charmingly rustic, finish. A big wine for big meat over the next decade or so.
