An excellent interpretation of Barossa Shiraz from old vines, whole-cluster fermented and basket-pressed into mainly used French oak barriques. Serves us generous amounts of blueberry and blackberry fruit with accents of roasted meat, black pepper and cedar. Nicely full and fleshy without veering off into “heavy” territory, it finishes fine and long and slightly dusty. A terrific cookout/roasted meat red you can sip solo, too.
