Natural  Two friends hooked up to make “out of the ordinary” rose from biodynamic fruit in the Dolomites and ended up with something that’s frankly more orange, but still fascinating. It’s a blend of Teroldego and Schiava for the red grapes and Pinot Grigio, Manzoni Bianco and/or Nosiola, all fermented on the skins in steel, old oak, acacia, concrete and/or clay.

The reds get a short soak while the whites stay on the skins longer and no sulfur is used before a tiny squirt right before 600 or so bottles are filled.  There’s a wild mélange of strawberry, juicy nectarine and tart black cherry here along with some wilder notes that are hard to describe.
