Terrasses du Larzac is possibly the most exciting slice of the Languedoc these days, taking advantage of cool air flowing in nightly from mountains to the north to balance the sunny, warm, Mediterranean days. This is a terrific example of the results, a boisterous and ripe blend of Syrah, Mourvedre and Grenache that’s perfectly balanced by fresh notes of blood orange and minerality. Ripe and deep without weight or heaviness. Good stuff.
