The "fun" project from Cava stars Agustí Torello, Sr. and Jr. to create elegant, drinkable, reds from a region better known for more rustic expressions. Garnacha gives this big red fruit and a bit of iron ore minerality while 10% Cariñena adds a dollop of blueberry pie and salty minerality that reins in the big fruit. Aging a part in older barrels adds some roundness and spice to bring the whole thing together. Seriously fun and easy to drink with or without food.
