Since the review came out two years ago, this has rounded out nicely to develop a solid core of cherry and strawberry fruit and gentle accents of sweet spice. Gains a little weight with air, but stays nicely elegant and focused.

"Scents of Mediterranean brush, fragrant purple flower and rusty iron meld together in the glass. Full bodied but weightless, the lithe, palate features juicy red cherry, star anise and savory mineral notes suggesting rusty nail alongside firm acidity. Fine-grained, somewhat drying tannins provide lithe support."
