Lower ABV Actually a single vineyard wine from the site not far off the Danube River called Frauenweingarten in the Wachau. But it was resting in Tank #26 the first time importer Klaus Wittauer tasted it years ago. “I want a lot of T26,” Klaus said- and the name has stuck.
All of Martin’s wines shimmer with intensity, nicely balancing excellent ripeness and generosity of flavor with vibrant acids and savory, salty-stone, minerality. In 2021, Grüner T26 deivers everything we love about this wine – the ripe peach and apricot fruit, crisp Granny Smith apple, chalky mineral, lime zest, and white pepper spice – in an especially vibrant frame.
