Lower ABV A 75/25 blend of Mandilaria and Monemvasia, aged for 12 months in second use barriques (70/30, French and American) and just 12.9% alcohol. And despite the unfamiliar grapes and low abv, this tastes satisfyingly familiar and feels creamy, round, and very present on the palate. The flavors are kind of a Cotes du Rhone meets California Cab - earthy, fleshy, blackberry and currant with a generous accent of sweet spice. Finishes firm and lightly grippy, making it perfect for burgers, sausages and (of course) lamb!
