Brunello masters Mastrojanni always excel with their super-Tuscan blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Sangiovese, all aged a modest six months in a mixture of large and small French oak. In 2021, there's wonderful richness to the texture, flavors and aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, dark chocolate and wild Tuscan herbs. Feels big, but focused, in your mouth before finishing with Napa Cab-like fine tannins. Decant an hour if you can.
