Organic/Bio Lower ABV From a village site near 1er Cru Morgeot, this is always a richer, more deeply fruited, example of Chassagne Montrachte Pinot Noir. Especially in the very dry and warm 2020 harvest, when the alcohol level here probably reached at least a litte above the 13.5% on the label. What it lacks in finesse and refinement, though, the 2020 Champs Morgeot delivers loads of generous, rich, black cherry and dark berry fruit along with plenty of earthy spice and firm, but still ripe and friendly, tannins. Red Chassagne for a steak or stew, and ready now and for the next 8-10 years.
