Organic/Bio Lower ABV Up a side valley of the Cote de Beaune, just west of Auxey-Duresses, St Romain is known for minerally dry Chardonnay value. In the warm 2020 vintage, Jerome Billard was able to get just a touch more fruit and texture on this fine single-vineyard bottling with no loss of vibrancy and cut. There's a delightful transparency to the ripe pear and apple fruit, a silky fine mouthfeel, and a long, mouthwatering, finish with a just-right touch of cultured butter lingering. Really delicious.
