An old (19th Century) estate in Bordeaux’s Entre Deux Mers region tries something a bit new with real success! Instead of the traditional Merlot/Cabernet blend, here owner Yves Glotin explores Bordeaux’s two most important grapes as solo starts. The Cabernet Sauvignon bottling shows a classically austere feel, with firm and fine tannins shaping flavors of redcurrant, fresh herb, cedar and sweet spice that flow nicely through a lip-smacking finish. An interesting experiment turns out a very tasty wine for lamb burgers and beef!
