Lower ABV The brother and sister team at Greece's Bosinakis make only two wines - a rose and this white - both from the same, pink-skinned grape. Moschifiero is said to be a crossing of Gewürztraminer brought to Greece by a Bavarian prince during the crusades and the ancient Greek Fileri varietal. In Mantinia, the vine gives smaller berries with more intensity of aromas and better minerality than elsewhere. It's boldly scented and flavored, with layers of lichee and stone fruit, rose petal, and exotic sweet spice. Unlike Gewurtz, though, this is zingy, fresh, and ultra-pure, finishing with driving minerality and vibrant cut. A great match with pork, Indian foods, or anything in a cream sauce.
