From 7 different vineyards, 100% whole cluster, stomped by foot, native yeast, basket pressed, aged 10 months in oak (just a little new) and bottled with as little sulfur as possible, this is just plain delicious. Dark fruited, nicely substantial, but so energetic it really flies across your palate. About half the fruit is Wadenswil clone, which accounts for the delicious floral accents to the deep, ripe, fruit. Super satisfying.
"Fragrant and elegantly complex, this red has depth and delicacy, with raspberry, orange peel and forest floor accents that sail toward polished tannins. Drink now through 2031."
"Notes of spiced cherries, dried orange peel and nutmeg with some blue flowers and crushed stones. Medium-bodied, sleek and creamy with silky tannins and red berry character, with a pepperiness running through it."
