One of the most deliciously savory Proseccos we've ever tasted comes from the very best subzone of the region and brother/sister team making benchmark wines for the past 20 years. The Vinous 91 point review describes it well: "opens with a bouquet of crushed rock, orange zest and freshly sliced pear. It’s slaty in style with a contrast of ripe orchard fruits, all supported by saline-infused acidity. Hints of tropical citrus linger on as this finishes long and with tension, leaving a lingering sour grapefruit resonance." A more stylish, refined, wine than most with small bubbles and a lingering, herb-laced, finish.
For You If: You're in the mood for "Champagne-quality" Prosecco - this doesn't taste like Champagne, but has that level of texture, complexity and finesse.
Not For You If: You're looking for something soft and sweet - while this is hardly harsh or tart, it's definitely dry and crisp.
