From the most famous of Alsace's Grand Cru vineyards, this is deliciously compelling Riesling for all kinds of food. On the nose and palate, it's noticeably mineral and fresh, with bright notes of lemon, lime, tangy peach and just a hint of Riesling's signature "petrol" note. Excellent acidity gives the wine lift and driver and a nice, dry, feel to the stony, citric, finish where a hint of green tea adds complexity. Lovely stuff.
