Organic/Bio We’ve always admired Tolaini’s Valdisanti blend for the way it matched Cabernet richness with a 20% dose of firm, austere, juicy Sangiovese. But it turns out we just didn’t know how good it could be when it was 100% Cabernet – 50/50 Sauvignon and Franc – in a great, warm, year like 2018.  This rich, deep, powerful “super-Tuscan” blend will be best from 2023-2031, but don’t be afraid to decant for an hour or two and enjoy with beef, lamb, or earthy vegetarian dishes now. Marvelous stuff.
