If I could tell you (or persuade our good friend Chris Campbell who bought all TWO barrels made) where on Howell Mountain this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon came from…well, you’d be happy to have it at 3x the price. If the powerful, rich and firmly structured wines of Napa’s most important mountain vineyard are something you follow, you know the name. And you’ll probably be able to guess once you taste the stupendously dark, rich, fruit and feel the intense texture and fine/firmly gripping finish. Tasted blind, no way you don’t guess $150 on the price tag. Just buy it already, while you can.
