Trey Busch and Jerry Solomon of Slight of Hand Cellars created Renegade Wine Co. to make really good, really affordable, Washington state wines (and, it's rumored, to profitably use some excess juice from Slight of Hand). This is a winner that's loaded with drip down your chin ripe blackberry fruit with a touch of dark chocolate and fine, easy, soft tannins at the end. A great cookout Cab that can even take a light chill if you like. Nicely done.
