A terrific, old-school, Ribera del Duero Tempranillo with loads of black fruit ripeness and sweet oak spice, smoke and vanilla balanced by remarkable freshness and even a touch of minerality. The oak folds into the ripe fruit nicely, with cherry compote, earth and spice lingering over the broad, supple, finish.

"Sweet spices with meaty blackberries and a hint of pencil shavings. Medium to full body with a fluid center-palate, before grippy, chewy tannin that will need a year to settle."
