This small (20 acre) family-owned estate makes delicious wines that studies the interaction of Sauvignon Blanc and Sancerre's diverse soils. From vines 65-85 years old on soils that mix clay, marl and limestone, it’s pretty much the essence of classic Sancerre. Clean, mineral, and absolutely silky in feel, the crisp white peach, apple and lime citrus flavors show plenty of drive and chalky, dusty, minerality. Vivid and intense, but not at all harsh. Will age nicely, too.
