This small (20 acre) family-owned estate makes delicious wines that studies the interaction of Sauvignon Blanc and Sancerre's diverse soils. Here you'll taste how soils with more clay give Sancerre Sauvignon more breadth and richness and juicy pineapple and lemon fruit. There's no loss of minerality or energy, though, and the finish is remarkably long. The extra breadth makes this especially delicious sipped solo, although it will certainly shine with richer seafood dishes as well.
