Lower ABV This is really compelling Sicilian white wine and you very much should try it. From an area in Sicily where salt is harvested from the sea and left to dry for months in white hills that dot the landscape, this is - surprise! - a salty take on the island's famed white grape. The first sniff and sip shows just-ripe pineapple and peach fruit and hint of the sea with a sense of amplitude, energy and salty minerality growing with air and subsequent sips. The long, complex, lightly salty finish is a thing of beauty and keeps you coming back for more and more until sips start growing closer to gulps. It's addictive to drink solo and better still with fried foods or anything from the sea. Really good.
