Lower ABV As The New York Times reported a few years ago, "Do not let its bad reputation fool you. Good Lambrusco is joyous and delicious, and it goes wonderfully with salumi, pork dishes, rich pastas and pizzas." This is a fine one and at a very non-trendy price, too! It's blend of traditional Lambrusco grapes (Salamino, Marani, Grasparossa) given fizz via the same process used for Prosecco and finished fully dray at a delightful 11% alcohol. Serves up huge amounts of tangy boysenberry and blackberry fruit framed by a creamy froth before finishing dry, fresh and easy. Drink it a bit warmer than refrigerator temperature if you can, but drink it for sure!
