Organic/Bio Lower ABV Insolia/Inzolia is native to Sicily and goes mainly into Grillo or Catarratto blends or, even more so, into Marsala. Here it shines solo with a very Sicilian nose of lemons, oranges and crushed almonds. Some baked apple joins the citrus and almond party on the juicy, mouthwatering, finish. At just 12.5% alcohol but with tons of texture and verve, a fun riff on the kind of mouthfeel and minerality often found in Savaoie and Chenin whites.
