After all the excitement over the legendary 2019 vintage and the challenges of weather and Covid, no one was super-excited about Brunello di Montalcino 2020. Until they tasted the wines. As Monica Larner said in her Wine Advocate write-up: “I could not be more pleased with 2020 Brunello di Montalcino. I came away from the tasting with two main thoughts:

1. These are the wines I want to drink.
2. This is the vintage Montalcino needed.”
