Reserve Your Seats on Eventbrite Here Take tiny production, very food friendly Northern California wines created by Faila alum John Lockwood. Match them up with the innovative, ingredient-driven, creativity of Chef David Gaus. And put it all together on an October evening at McLean’s own Neutral Ground, which the Washington Post called the “most captivating new restaurant in Northern Virginia” last year. Folks, some food and wine magic is about to happen! And you can have a seat at the table for the first ever Neutral Ground Wine Dinner with John Lockwood and Enfield Wines. The cost is $171.61 including tax and booking fees with gratuity extra at the event. If you haven’t been to Neutral Ground before, or not recently, you need to go! The space is both beautiful and welcoming and Chef David’s food is delicious – creative without being fussy, easy to love and never boring. It’s the perfect approach to take with John Lockwood’s Enfield Wines, crafted in Napa from cool sites in the Santa Maria Valley, Arroyo Grande and the coolest slices of the Sonoma Coast. John will be on hand to share his journey from weeding grape vines in Vermont to working with Ted Lemon at Littorai and Bodega Melipal in Argentina before starting Enfield as a side project while tending vines for Erin Jorden at Faila. It’s going to be a delicious blast! Here's the menu: Scallops Crudo Meadow Creek Dairy Appalachian Wood Fired Mushroom Risotto Braised Beef Short Ribs Chocolate Candy Bar Neutral Gound is located at 6641 Old Dominion Drive McLean, VA 22101, so practically just around the corner from the shop and there’s plenty of free parking in the lot behind the restaurant. We love the food and atmosphere at Neutral Ground and know you will to. Come help us make this first collaborative wine dinner a success and the first of many more neighborhood dinners to come! |
