It’s Saturday of a long Labor Day weekend and we hope you’re going to be able to spend it outside (we’ll see what the weather says) with family and friends. This Saturday’s tasting line-up delivers wines for just that kind of weekend. And a few surprises, too.  Join us from noon-4pm on Saturday to sample:

Deovlet Pinot Blanc Sta. RIta Hills La Encantada Vineyard 2022 – Look, I understand that “as good as Pinot Blanc gets in California” doesn’t sound like much. But this is that and also pretty close to as good as this refreshing, dry, mouthwatering wine gets anywhere. Yum

Bodegas Valdemar Rioja Blanco Conde Valdemar 2023 – A rarity – 100% Tempranillo Blanco white Rioja!  This still fairly new mutation gives wines with terrific freshness and the time in barrel adds a just right touch of spice.

Dom Marcel Giraudon Bourgogne Chitry 2024 – The first bottling of the new vintage of one of our best-selling red Burgundy’s ever showcases the crunch, fresh, super happy side of Pinot Noir. Don’t wait on this, because it’s a short crop and quantities are limited.

Bedrock Wine Co Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County 2023 - The old-vine Zinfandel experts at Bedrock make a pretty stunning, old-school, Cabernet as well! This is spicy, full bodied, and loaded with savory character.

Lagrimas de Bhilar Garnacha Navarra 2024 – A terrific Spanish Garnacha Tinto, bursting with ripe red berry and cherry fruit balanced by juicy acids and savory wild herb and earth flavors. A perfect summer-into-fall red!
