Organic/Bio Lower ABV
Very much a “Burgundy drinker’s Burgundy” here in a classic Pommard that could almost be mistaken for Gevrey. Plenty of ripe black cherry and blackberry fruit in the core, wrapped up tightly in a layer of savory earth, iron and spice. Medium bodied and very intense through the long, firm, iron-laced finish where Pommard tannins squeeze with authority, not austerity. Now-2033+.
For You If: You’re looking for Pinot Noir that is unmistakably from Burgundy – one where Pinot’s sweet fruit is cloaked in flavors of earth and spice and iron-ore minerality; you’re after Pinot Noir too enjoy with red meat – this will do very nicely indeed.
