Organic/Bio We love cool wines from hot places, especially when they come from a grower like José Maria Vincente who are resurrecting abandoned vineyards to create something new. Here it's 100% Garnacha from a region famed for Monestrell and, as Advocate says in the 94 point review, "It feels very Mediterranean, aromatic and showy, with good ripeness, varietal, with notes of cherries in liqueur, more Châteauneuf than any of the previous vintages with intense notes of garrigue that keep growing in the glass. It has aromas of Mediterranean herbs and an intense chalky sensation in the palate." Captivating stuff that keeps pulling you back in for more.
For You If: You're in the mood foor something with loads of Rhone-like flavor and intensity but with a bit less weight and loads more freshness and verve.
