As Vinous said a few years ago, "Broadley Vineyards has been a consistently reliable source of energetic, well-balanced Pinots, but this long-established winery, founded by Claudia and Craig Broadley in 1982, doesn’t seem to get the attention it deserves."
They crush it again in 2024 with this earth and fruit-filled bargain. WE described it well in the 92 point review: "A very autumnal set of aromas opens with blackberries, red apples and the scent of dew-covered oak leaves that have fallen to the forest's floor. Blackberries appear once more as a flavor, joined by bay leaf and black tea and a touch of vanilla bean. The Pinot Noir feels silky in the mouth, bolstered by mildly energetic acidity and velvety tannins. This wine is always one of the valley's great bargains."
