Whether you’re a long-time Willamette Valley wine fan or just looking for a delightful evening of food, wine and company, you should plan now to come meet Flaneur Wines owner Marty Doerschlag and enjoy a great wine dinner at The Falls in Falls Church.  On Tuesday, October 14 at 6pm, we’ll be digging into five great Flaneur wines – Pinot, Chard, even bubbles! – with a classic menu custom-created just for this dinner. It’s convenient, delicious, and a great value for just $125 per person plus tax/tip/reservation fee (total $165.75).

A few years ago, the late Josh Raynolds in Vinous called Marty Doerschlag’s Flaneur wines “definitely a producer to watch.” And Marty and his team have given Willamette Valley wine fans a LOT to watch!  From a dizzying array of unusual varietals to the stunning renovation of the old grain elevator in Carlton to a set of classic Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays that sell for remarkably reasonable prices, this is a winery doing things right.

And “doing things right” is the story at The Falls these days.  The latest creation of brothers Mark and Stephen Fedorchak (Lyon Hall, Liberty Tavern, Northside Social), The Falls serves delicious new American cuisine right in the heart of Falls Church. As you can see from this very tasty menu:
